Flowers in winter

Winter is here in Spain. The cold has arrived and I see no one on the streets without their coats. There is a cold wind, we have days of rain and the olive trees are soaking in the mud. I don't know if this is normal.

And I don't care. I've found my sun on the side of the road. It's glowing yellow of the flowers pointing upwards to heaven. Purple is the color underneath the bushes where the orhids grow. The grass is green and on a good day I can see the bluest of blues. On those days the sky is super clear without any interference of clouds. A winter like this suits me. Who knows I'll chose to get all my winters like this.
