The river you see here is the border of the Chitwan National Park in Nepal. Crocodiles live in the water while women do their laundry, elephants are bathing and men are fishing. It also brings the photographer a lot to see and document.

To get myself in "Travel Mood" I was viewing a selection of my pictures made in New Zealand. On the way to Mount Cook we drove through this magical landscape full of Autumn colours.

A boat trip on the river is for many tourists the ideal way to view the burnings at a safe distance.

I've taken this picture in Mathura, India. This city is an important place for Hindu pilgrims and the bathing spaces along the river are always full of people. The lady in the picture is cleaning herself and her clothes in the water flowing along the shore.
